Protesters removed: US-Canada border opened

Ottawa: Canadian-U.S. shutdown following truck drivers’ blockade of Kovid controls The border was opened. Winsor in Ontario, Canada and the U.S. Traffic on the Ambassador Bridge connecting the city of Detroit was restored.

The Canadian Border Services confirmed that the bridge was fully open and freight traffic had been restored. But the organization made it clear that non-essential passengers should be avoided. Truck workers blockaded the border to protest the Kovid vaccine test. But on Friday, the court asked the protesters to withdraw from the siege of the bridge.

However, protesters continued to protest. The police then used force. The police mission, which began Saturday night, was completed by Sunday morning. Police said several people were arrested and vehicles confiscated.
