Called to apply for the second time on a dedicated platform, the clubs of Île-de-France have once again mobilized in numbers. More than 200 clubs have submitted a file to allow licensed children to share a moment rich in learning and emotion with the Paris Saint-Germain technical team. The selection of clubs was carried out according to several criteria, in particular, the obligation to have women’s and men’s sections and the need for Paris Saint-Germain to select clubs from all departments of Île-de-France.

From April 8 to 19, exclusive training sessions will be organized in 10 of the 35 selected clubs. These sessions were designed by the technical teams of our prestigious training center. Around 1,200 young talents will have the unique opportunity to perfect their skills and experience the spirit of Paris Saint-Germain on the pitch.

But Paris Saint-Germain’s commitment does not stop there. The 24 other selected clubs will also have their moment of glory during a major tournament which will take place at the new Paris Saint-Germain training center in Poissy, the CAMPUS, the 21 avril. This tournament will allow 600 children to play on the lawns usually trodden by the club’s stars. Two tournaments will be organized on this occasion, in the morning and afternoon, as well as fun activities to allow children to make the most of this extraordinary day.

The Club Tour perfectly embodies the fundamental values of Paris Saint-Germain, in particular the propensity for sharing and transmission. By connecting the club’s hopes with local youth, we aspire to inspire and motivate the next generations of footballers. In the same way, our professional coaches will share their expertise with the coaches of the selected clubs, thus strengthening the Ile-de-France football community as a whole.

Yohann CabayeDeputy Director of Training at Paris Saint-Germain, said: “The trainers of Ile-de-France football clubs are the true artisans of the passion that drives our region for this sport. Their dedication and expertise contribute to the development of talents that are the pride of our region. At Paris Saint-Germain, we are grateful to these trainers, because they embody the spirit of sharing and excellence. We look forward to meeting and interacting with young people during the Club Tour, because they represent the future of Ile-de-France football. »

Angelo CastellazziSports Director of the women’s section of Paris Saint-Germain, added: “Paris Saint-Germain has always been keen to put equality and diversity at the heart of its project. The Club Tour responds to this desire and significantly promotes the practice of women’s football. Île-de-France has an exceptional number of talented footballers, young players but also young players who embody the future. We see this on a daily basis through our close collaboration with many clubs in the region. We are delighted to be able to meet new ones thanks to the fourth edition of this unique event. »

3 questions to Maxime Agostini, PSG brand and activations manager:

Bruno Cammalleri: What is the genesis of the project and how are you mobilizing internally?

Maxime Agostini: This project is extremely consistent with the strategy set by Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. For the record, I must remind you that this project was first thought of as part of the club’s 50th anniversary. In this context we had considered many events, including this famous Club Tour. It was unfortunately the year of covid, so a bit of a special year. It’s a project that we loved so much that we wanted to maintain it. It has created enthusiasm and very strong commitment among us internally. We saw it this evening during this launch party for the 4th edition of the Club Tour. It’s a project that involves a lot of people internally. So this is how the project started! The first year went very well, then we did a second and a third… and then a fourth in 2024. We tried to have a humble approach to this project because we started it very slowly and there we raise it and give it more breadth. We created the Club Tour Cup at the Poissy Campus thanks to this tool from the training center which is absolutely incredible.

Bruno Cammalleri: Why is the Club Tour important for PSG?

Maxime Agostini: This is extremely important to us. Île-de-France is an exceptional breeding ground for players and Paris Saint-Germain, being the emblem of football in the region, must also play its part in the relationship with training clubs. This Club Tour PSG project aims to maintain this link between these clubs and with young players.

Bruno Cammalleri: There is a sporting dimension with the talent pool, and an identity dimension with respect to a territory…

Maxime Agostini: The Club Tour helps bring the club closer to what is happening in Île-de-France. We are extremely attached to this region, we want to give back everything it gives us. That’s what the Club Tour is all about! Having players from Île-de-France is an objective set by the President of Paris Saint-Germain. We see it every year with players of whom we are proud like Laurina Fazer who was present this evening and who has been at the club since the age of 6. This is the very example of what Paris Saint-Germain can do.
