PSG: the winter internship in Qatar canceled

Qatar will still wait before being able to welcome “his” PSG. For the first time since 2019, the capital club had scheduled a mini winter internship from January 16 to 20. But, on Wednesday, the management concluded that it had to be canceled due to the global health situation.

The organization of this internship had become very complicated in recent weeks with the rise in Covid-19 contamination due to the Omicron variant. In France as in Qatar, cases are exploding day following day. Several events with local sponsors were planned on site.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team also had to take advantage of the facilities to perfect their physical preparation and play a friendly match. This should have taken place in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, which is already hosting the Spanish Supercup this week.

PSG’s schedule is therefore lightened. The Parisians will receive Brest this Saturday at 9 pm at the Parc des Princes in Ligue 1. Before a new home match once morest Reims on January 23
