LE SCAN SPORT – Paris Saint-Germain have unveiled a quick teaser of their players for the upcoming EA Sports video game. Neither Kylian Mbappé nor Neymar appear on the video.
Gone is the famous name “FIFA”. EA has lost the rights to the license and can no longer rename its next video game as such. Now it’s time for EA Sports FC 24. Long-awaited, this new opus will be released on September 29 on consoles.
Just over two months away from the game’s release, the first images of the video game have been released. But a small anomaly appears: Kylian Mbappé is nowhere present on these first videos of the game, abbreviated as EAFC 24.
On the official teaser of the video game published this Thursday evening, and of almost two minutes, we see many stars of world football: Erling Haaland, spearhead of this opus, but also Vinicius, Diogo Jota, Kyle Walker, Youssoufa Moukoko … Also present are legends Luis Figo and Mia Hamm, and footballer Sam Kerr. This new edition of the video game focusing on women’s football. But not Kylian Mbappé, nor Neymar.

Mbappé is not present
And the same goes for the PSG teaser. On Twitter account, the capital club posted a ten-second video to introduce its players. The French and Brazilian attackers are once again absent. Which did not fail to react on social networks.
On the other hand, we find Marquinhos, Gianluigi Donnarrumma, Achraf Hakimi, Nuno Mendes or even rookies Kang-In Lee, Marco Asensio and Lucas Hernandez. Admittedly, not all the players in the squad are visible, but this choice not to show two of the biggest Parisian stars is a challenge. No Marco Verratti either.
Note that Kylian Mbappé could be “boycotted” from the game. After three years in a row on the cover, the French striker was replaced this year by … Erling Haaland, designated as his best enemy.
