The Parisian coach delivers his analysis after the 3-0 victory over Montpellier on Friday, at the Parc des Princes, at the opening of the 11th day of the French championship.
PSG launched with this series of five victories : «That’s what all coaches want, we always aim for the best results, while having our own style of play. I’m obviously happy. What I see is positive. The objective is to continue to be efficient and to further increase our level of performance.»
The contents : «I am very satisfied. Montpellier was the best team we faced at the Parc des Princes since the start of the season. I really liked the way they played. It was hard to take the ball from them. They have different ways of playing. Short game, long game, short or long combination… It was difficult when they attacked in spaces. It was complicated in the first half, but we scored on our first opportunity, we were calmer. And in the second half, we did very well. If we had slowed down, it could have become complicated.»
Randal Kolo Muani and the competition ahead : «He had a key role in all matches, and the same goes for Gonçalo Ramos and Marco Asensio. I am happy with these players. Randal is a very versatile player, brilliant technically and physically. They all have a great mentality. And I’m happy with the players I have in front.»
