Public Health made a training and work proposal for UNSa Medicine graduates

The Secretary of Health Management, Adrián Rúa, formalized the offer of training and residency to doctors, recently graduated from UNSa Medicine. In this way, professionals will be able to access training in the main specialties such as paediatrics, surgery, obstetrics and family medicine.

“We made a work and training proposal: admission to the Ministry of Public Health as professionals and, starting in June, training in different specialties in residence,” said Adrián Rúa.

In this sense, the Secretary of Health Management specified that the proposals were for the residences of Tartagal and Oran. “This will allow us to improve the quantity and quality of specialized human resources, especially in complex areas such as those in the north of the province,” he added.

“Following the governor’s message, we told them that Salta is proud to have our first doctors received at our university,” concluded Adrián Rúa.

For his part, Enrique Heredia, coordinator of the Medicine degree and professor of the ‘Public Health’ chair at the same, accompanied the graduates and considered that the offer “is a very valuable opportunity as was not done many years ago”. He also celebrated that the Ministry of Public Health “recovers the strategy to win the professionals who have been trained in Salta for the health system.”

“I am proud that the minister and his team have made this offer to young professionals,” Heredia concluded.
