The telegram channel of ChGTRK “Grozny” published survey under the heading “Do you support Adam Kadyrov’s actions?”
It appeared following the news about Nikita Zhuravel, who was beaten in a Chechen pre-trial detention center and was detained in the case of burning the Koran.
On the evening of September 25, Ramzan Kadyrov admitted that Zhuravel was beaten by his 15-year-old son Adam. The head of Chechnya posted a video of the beating, adding that he was proud of his son’s actions.
More than 22 thousand users are subscribed to the ChGTRK “Grozny” telegram channel. Within a few hours, more than 200 thousand users took part in the survey.
At first, the absolute majority of voters did not support Adam Kadyrov’s action, then the number of his supporters began to grow.
At the time of writing the news, 55% voted negatively, 45% declared support for Kadyrov’s son.
Member of the Human Rights Council under the President of the Russian Federation Eva Merkacheva announced that she will demand that law enforcement agencies open a case into the beating of Nikita Zhuravel. “In essence, this is a challenge to the entire legal system of Russia. In a particular region they showed that they can commit crimes and nothing will happen to them for it,” she said.
