Putin: We do not see a Ukrainian desire to stick to an initial peace agreement, and Saudi Arabia and the UAE offer mediation

(Archyde.com) – Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday that Moscow saw no desire in Ukraine to stick to the terms of what he said was an initial peace deal reached in March.

Putin told reporters in televised statements following a summit in Tehran that Saudi Arabia and the UAE are offering mediation.

On the other hand, Putin expressed Russia’s readiness to facilitate Ukraine’s grain exports through the Black Sea, stressing at the same time his country’s desire to remove the remaining restrictions on its grain exports.

Putin said the United States has essentially removed restrictions on Russian fertilizer exports.
