Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Ukraine refused to implement the agreements reached, Kyiv has no desire to implement them even now. The head of the Russian state announced this on the night of July 20 following the results of trilateral talks in Tehran, commenting on the possibility of his own meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“In order to create these conditions (for negotiations), our troops withdrew from the center of Ukraine, from Kyiv. The Kyiv authorities refused to implement these agreements, although they were practically achieved. So the final result depends, of course, not on the mediators, but on the desire of the contracting parties to fulfill the agreements reached. We see today that the Kyiv authorities have no such desire,” quotes Putin RIA Novosti.
