Qatar Amphitheater Interfaith Solidarity Rally Against Israel’s Aggression in Gaza

Doha: A great gathering at the Qatar Amphitheater in solidarity with the people of Qatar against Israel’s aggression in Gaza. Thousands attended the interfaith and humanitarian solidarity rally under the theme ‘Together Against the War in Gaza’ led by the Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue (DICID). DICID Chairman Prof. Ibrahim Salih Al Nuaimi presided over the gathering.

Sharbal Mihanna, Imam Muhammad Bin Abdul Wahab Mosque Imam and Auqaf Representative Sheikh Abdullah Muhammad Al Namah, Christian Churches Steering Committee – Archbishop Makarios Maovrianakis of the Greek Orthodox Church, Sheikh Ahmad Al Buinan, Head of the Family Reconciliation Office of the Family Court, Christian Churches Steering Committee – Anglican Church Chief Fr. Beda Robles, Abdullah Bin Said Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center representative Sheikh Abdussalam Basiouni, and Maysa Wa’il Abuhilal, a member of the General Secretariat of the Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad, addressed the gathering. Hundreds of people, including Qatari nationals, expatriates and other religious groups, gathered at the amphitheater to declare solidarity with the Palestinian people and against the war in the Gaza Strip.
