Doha ∙ Qatar Digital ID Card Application can be downloaded from Apple Stores. In the first phase, the app will be available for download from Apple stores, according to the Interior Ministry. It aims to prevent thefts in cyberspace.
The great advantage is that the digital identity of the users can be verified beyond the easy access to the services on the Ministry’s website. It also includes e-stamping of documents issued online. The electronic seal on the certificates was issued to prevent the forgery of documents.
The digital ID card application replaces existing plastic cards. The Digital ID Card application, which secures online transactions, also has a special digital wallet system. The Qatar Digital ID application was unveiled last month at the Millipole Qatar International Exhibition on Civil Security and Civil Defense.
