The profits of Qatar Insurance Company, a Qatari public shareholding company, jumped by 510 percent in 2021, to reach 615.88 million riyals, compared to 100.02 million riyals in 2020.
A statement issued by the company, published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website today, stated that the earnings per share amounted to 0.143 riyals last year.
The company’s board of directors proposed distributing 10 percent of cash dividends, equivalent to 0.10 riyals per share, for the year 2021.
It should be noted that Qatar Insurance Company was established in 1964 and was listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange in 1997.
