Doha: Qatar received heavy rain with thunder. The rain started from morning and continued till followingnoon. In some places, traffic was disrupted due to water inundation. The rain, which came as a relief to Qatar in the last few days of intense heat, continued till the followingnoon. The rain was accompanied by heavy thunder and lightning. Capital city Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Abu Hamour and other places received rain.
Due to heavy rains, the water level rose and the traffic was blocked for some time in some places. Some even celebrated the rain received during the intense heat. It is cloudy in Qatar since last day. It was drizzling in some places yesterday. The Meteorological Center has warned that there will be a big change in the weather this week.
