Earlier, the construction site on Anderson Road in Sau Mau Ping collapsed in an accident, causing three deaths and six injuries. Several of the dead and injured have their own sad stories. Among them, the tragic electrician and 41-year-old Xu Wenming’s family were in the most difficult situation. He left behind two young daughters and his wife who was suffering from terminal breast cancer.
Hong Kong is a city of love. This week, the widow Mrs. Xu received donations and help from all over the world, which made her flattered. So she announced through the Industrial Casualty Rights Association a few days ago that she would stop accepting donations and explain the reasons. We see the quality of the people of Hong Kong, a lovely citizen who is more rational than a scholar.

Once, because of the violence, Hong Kong people hated each other, and many of the qualities of kindness, benevolence, and mutual help have disappeared without a trace.
This accident has given us renewed hope. From Mrs. Xu’s confession, we can see that the outside world’s care for her family must be overwhelming. The love of Hong Kong people has never been interrupted. What’s more respectable is that Mrs. Xu appealed to everyone to give love and donations to more needy people in the society, because they are not the only unfortunate family.
This is what makes Hong Kong people outstanding, and this is what makes Hong Kong unique. A tragedy, but let us see the beautiful Hong Kong in the past.
