From first writing scripts on TV stations to writing reports in the media, then writing columns in newspapers and magazines, and even writing books and biographies for people who have stories… The essence of climbing the grid has actually not changed.
What has changed is the content and mode, from script to news, from parent-child education to current affairs commentary. Looking back, every road was not pre-arranged, but because of giving up, it went out into another world.
When he left the media, he was still in his prime. High labor, high positions, high output, everyone wonders, why give up?
I said: For the sake of the child, I want to go home and take the child. No one believes it, everyone thinks, you must have other plans.
Not calculating, but creating more possibilities. So, I moved from the press to the parent education world, writing a series of parent-child books, introducing the concept of “monster parent”, running educational programs on the radio, and giving parent lectures in middle schools, primary schools, and kindergartens… Because as a mother of three daughters , I think there are problems with education and upbringing in Hong Kong.
This problem really came to the breaking point. In 2012, when he rebelled against the state religion, fourteen-year-old Huang Zhifeng and a large group of Red Guard-style political products were hailed as young heroes by the society. I think it is time to change the track. The society needs some people who can tell the truth.
The position determines the market, and when you have a clear stand, you will become the target of attack. In the year of Occupy Central, almost all of the school lectures for the new school year that were scheduled early in the morning were cancelled. The principal said, “You know, your position is too clear, I’m afraid that if you show up, you will attract complaints…” The situation of more than 150 lectures in the previous year suddenly returned to zero, and the annual income was suddenly reduced by seven or eight One hundred thousand.
Give up, but let me go further. From a parent-child writer to today, in addition to writing current reviews, there are also YouTube shows, not limited to reviews, but also what I want to do most: do some social education through storytelling.
