Accordingly, at regarding 3:30 pm on February 4, LTG and BHP, both born in 2016, students of Phong Hai Primary School, residing in Zone 5, Phong Hai ward, Quang Yen town (province Quang Ninh) invited each other to Cau Mieu lake (Phong Coc ward, Quang Yen town) to play and unfortunately fell into the lake.

At the time of the incident, due to the rain and lack of traffic, no one noticed. When people nearby found out, they took the children to Phong Coc Ward Medical Station for treatment, but both children died. The bodies of two students were handed over to their families for post-mortem.
