Queen bassist reappears in the British media after years away from public life | TV and Show

The bassist of the legendary British band ‘Queen’, reappeared after years of anonymity. John Deacon was walking calmly through the streets of London smoking a cigarette when he was photographed.

The musician is currently 69 years old and for many he looks unrecognizable. Years ago he left the life of ‘rockstar’, after the death of Freddie Mercury in 1991.

Although he is a billionaire, he opted for a rather simple style. This is how it was portrayed in an image that was published a few days ago in the English medium The Sun, where he is seen as an average English citizen.

The other two members of Queen, Roger Taylor and Bryan May, asserted a few years ago that they have no close relationship with the bassist, since the latter chose to escape from all the show business, because he was greatly affected by the death of the vocalist.

“We’re not in touch because John is really a sociopath,” Roger Taylor joked a few years ago. “He has given his blessing to what Brian and I can do with the Queen brand. And of course we have taken advantage of it very well ”, explained the drummer.

Deacon es autor de icónicas canciones de ‘Queen’, como “Another One Bites The Dust”, “You’re My Best Friend”, “I Want To Break Free”, entre otras.
