Office conversion, expansion & more (green) space
Vienna (OTS) – querkraft redesigned the children’s bike manufacturer’s headquarters in Klosterneuburg and created space for the woom team.
Expansion to include a former printing plant
The previous office was expanded to include the premises of a former print shop in the neighboring building. The graphics and creative department moved into this new space, whose workshop character corresponds to the team’s work dynamics.
Green, communicative islands
The new headquarters is open, green, communicative. Partitions have been removed, making intra-team communication more direct, easier and more fluid. Green islands were created around which the work zones are arranged.
Integration of tried and tested
Existing elements that already worked well, such as shelves and office furniture, were retained in the interests of sustainability and economy. Furthermore, low-tech solutions such as acoustic panels and curtains were implemented and extensive greenery was initiated as an essential part of the new office.
The result is reflected in a communicative environment that reflects the liveliness and openness of woom.
