While Quick Resume is a groundbreaking feature introduced with Xbox Series X|S, it does have its limitations. Indeed, it allows you to resume solo games in an instant where you left off, but it does not like online games.
In response to a tweet, Phil Spencer confirmed that the ability to disable it remains on the list of improvements to be made.
