QuickScan: folders to automatically store your scans

QuickScan ends the year with some practical improvements to speed up sometimes repetitive operations. That’s the whole point of this app that we talked about a few months ago and which continues to evolve while remaining essentially free.

The utility may be of interest to those who scan a bit of everything quite regularly and who find themselves limited by Apple’s integrated Notes function. This QuickScan update Allows you to link a shortcut or widget button to a folder in Export Favorites. For example, each time you scan something with a widget, the document will go to a specific folder, of your choice, on iCloud Drive (or another online service among those managed). In my case, it’s a folder on the Mac desktop that will fill up by itself after using a widget on the iPhone.

On the left, we define an export favorites that can be associated with one of the buttons in the right widget.

QuickScan then improved the part of the settings where you can define a default file name (with a series of attributes, such as date, day, etc.) for the scans carried out; you can also import signatures and the developer can continue to refine the rendering of the scans.

The app is still free, with a donation incentive screen once it has finished recording the scans you have just performed.
