In the oral history of BET on “Don Killuminati : The 7 Day Theory », Quincy Jones III alias « QD3 » tell this story. It is Michael Jackson who refused to cooperate with 2pac on « Thug Nature ». A refusal motivated by his loyalty to the illustrious The Notorious B.I.G.

According to HipHopDX, QD3 has explained : “So I organized a meeting at Neverland. I’m going up there and talking to Michael about it. Do you know what Michael said? That he loves Biggie”.

Originally thought to be released in the album period « Thriller » of Jacksoncollaboration on « Thug Nature » was no longer made. It was therefore removed from projet « Don Killuminati : The 7 Day Theory ». It will eventually be published in 2000 on compiling Death Row « Too Gangsta For Radio ».

QD3 told what it was like to work with 2pac. Indeed, they had the opportunity to work together on many projects and specifically on « Heaven Ain’t Hard 2 Find ». He explains that he was a maniac, able to express himself calmly, but who sometimes screams. “He took all these rhythms to work on, including the ones that I will never reveal. » he added.
