ABU DHABI, 6th August, WAM/ A delegation from Rabdan Academy reviewed the applications of the Virtual Training Center at the Saif bin Zayed Academy for Police and Security Sciences at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, and learned about the technological systems for simulating virtual reality according to the best internationally advanced practices.
Major General Thani Butti Al Shamsi, Director of the Saif bin Zayed Academy for Police and Security Sciences, Brigadier General Dr. Rashid Mohammed Burshid, Deputy Director of the Academy, met the visiting delegation headed by Dr. Shamma Hamdoun Al Naqbi, Assistant Professor and Director of the General and Preparatory Education Programs, where they discussed issues of common interest and documented prospects for cooperation between the two sides.
The delegation listened to an explanation from Colonel Talal Abdul Rahim Al-Ahmad, Director of the Virtual Training Center, about the center’s specializations, tasks, and the most important projects implemented for virtual trainings that simulate reality, and the applicable work mechanism.
The master’s students of the (Systems Engineering) program at Rabdan Academy participated in experimenting with virtual exercise scenarios and learned about their advantages and importance in the training aspect.
