Details are coming in about AMD’s upcoming Radeon RX 7700 XT. The card will be equipped with 12 GB of VRAM operated via a 192-bit memory bus.

The information is official. She comes from a document ASRock unveiling other solutions like the Radeon RX 7800 XT. Coming back to the RX 7700 XT, the card advertises itself with a standard memory size of 12 GB of GDDR6. This is the second “important” leak around these AMD novelties. Last week PowerColor’s Radeon RX 7800 XT Red Devil made headlines in particular with its Navi 32 GPU and 16 GB of VRAM operated via a 256-bit memory bus.

The Radeon RX 7700 XT is probably designed to compete with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4070. It is supposed to exploit the same Navi 32 GPU as its big sister but with some concessions. At the moment we have no information on technical data and frequencies. For example, if AMD uses GDDR6 at 18 Gbps (configuration of the RX 7800 XT Red Devil), this Radeon RX 7700 XT will ensure a memory bandwidth of 432 GB/s.

The Radeon RX 7800 XT and 7700 XT are scheduled for release in Q3.
