Team17 today announced Killer Frequency, a brand new horror comedy set in a 1980’s Central American city where a serial killer is on the loose to maximize his kill count. Killer Frequency, coming to Meta Quest 2 and Steam in flat screen mode in 2022, is Team17’s first foray into VR development. Players work the night shift at the local radio station, helping listeners who are being pursued by a mysterious masked killer.

As the grisly night unfolds, interact with the callers using a variety of conversational options while carefully listening for clues and information, solving mysteries around the studio that might help prevent each caller’s grisly end, and keep the show going with decade-inspired tunes. Players can also explore the studio building and interact with authentic items from the period, including a working record player and tape player.
