The striker, who is on loan to Bremen, is moving to Brazil – the only question is when. The Colombian brings Eintracht Frankfurt more money than expected.
One thing is certain: Rafael Borré is finally leaving Eintracht Frankfurt and returning to South America. It is not certain: when the center forward will join the Brazilian first division club Inter Porto Alegre, now or only in the summer? This question will probably not be answered immediately, but will certainly be answered by January 31st. The Colombian is currently playing on loan for Werder Bremen, so Porto will have to negotiate with the Hanseatic League as to whether Borré can move immediately.

With Eintracht, the Brazilians are clear that the Frankfurt club will cash in big for the professional, who is bound until 2025.
The recently rumored transfer fee of 5.5 million euros is not enough; according to FR information, Inter will pay between seven and eight million – depending on which bonuses take effect in the end. That’s a lot of gravel for someone who was lured with a good starting fee in 2021, but ultimately came on a free transfer.
Rafael Borré: Werder is not in a good position
And it’s a lot of money for someone who no longer plays a role in the planning. That’s exactly why Borré was loaned out to Bremen, where he scored four goals and made a decent impression, but didn’t play like a star. The 28-year-old played very poorly against VfL Bochum (1:1).
Werder is currently not in a good negotiating position because it is clear that the national player not only wants to move, but will move in the summer at the latest. And in such constellations the question is always to what extent the player’s thoughts are still fully focused on the matter and perhaps – also with a view to a possible injury – no longer going to the point at the very last moment. Those responsible in Bremen will think carefully about this. If they release Borré, they will need a replacement and are therefore demanding two million euros.
Porto Alegre should pay that, the club wants Borré immediately. The probability that the Frankfurt Europa League hero will move this winter is therefore relatively high.
