Lebanese artist Ragheb Alama, through his personal Instagram account, referred to a “special request” he received from Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi during the wedding of Prince Hussein bin Abdullah in Jordan.
On his account, Alama indicated that Pelosi had asked to hear the song “We rejoice in Hussein”, which the Lebanese singer performed at the wedding.
Alama appeared singing the song to Pelosi, while the latter interacted with the words and melodies.
Alama commented on his account on the video: “How beautiful it is when this person with a beautiful and loving soul asks you to hear a song that we rejoice in Hussein directly.”
Alama added, “You (Pelosi) are a precious jewel, and it was a great honor to meet you.”
Pelosi was among those attending the wedding of Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah, last Thursday.
