Thiruvananthapuram: Youth Congress state president Rahul arrested in Mankoot. Rahul Mangoothil was arrested in the Youth Congress secretariat march violence case.
Rahul was arrested by the Cantonment Police in the early morning from his house in Atur, Pathanamthitta. The sections of destruction of public property, art solicitation, etc. were imposed.
Opposition leader V.D. Satheesan is the first accused in the case. So far 31 Youth Congress workers have been arrested in connection with the conflict.
Shafi Parambi MLA, M. Vincent MLA and others have been charged with assaulting the police.
