Today, the railway begins the re-establishment and arrival of 16 trains, from Misr station in Cairo – Ramses – instead of shortening it to Shubra El-Kheima station, coinciding with the completion of the development of the North Tower at Cairo station, as part of the plan to develop the new signaling system, which is part of the comprehensive development plan that It is currently being carried out by the Ministry of Transport in all sectors to increase safety and security factors and improve the level of service provided.
And the Railways Authority, headed by Eng. Mohamed Amer, announced the cancellation of the abbreviation of the following trains at the Shubra Al-Khaimah station, and they will be departing and arriving at the Cairo station, as of today, Friday:
1- Tourist 941 (Cairo / Zagazig / Mansoura / Damietta) East Line / Tourist 966 (Damietta / Cairo).
2- Train 952/955, air-conditioned (Port Said / Cairo).
3- Tourist 810/809 (Sherbin/Qaleen/Tanta/Cairo).
4- Train 946 / 959 Tourist (Ismailia / Cairo).
It was also decided, as of Friday 9/1/2023, to cancel the abbreviation of the following trains at Shubra El-Kheima Station, and they will depart and arrive at Cairo Station:
1- Train 956 / 945 Tourist (Port Said / Cairo).
2- Tourist 994/965 (Damietta/Cairo).
3- My 1914/1915 Tourist Train (Mansoura / Cairo).
4- Tourist 964 / 969 (Damietta / Cairo).
