The rainbow RPG held its traditional weekly general meeting this Saturday, February 11, 2023. Marc Julien Yombouno expressed his satisfaction with the words of the president of the transition who announced to return power to civilians at the end of the two 2 years .
For the former Minister of Commerce, respecting this duration of the transition for the return to constitutional order is desirable. Marc Yombouno believes that he does not ask for more from the rainbow RPG.
“We assume that the 24 months have been accepted by all. Resulting from the agreement between ECOWAS and the government, I believe that respect for this for the return to constitutional order is desirable. We do not ask for more”, he rejoiced before affirming that within the RPG, he works night and day in order to regain power.
“As a political party, we work night and day, if there is an election, to regain power through the ballot box. This is the leitmotif of the Rainbow RPG which is a great party. And even tomorrow, at the polls, we will regain power, ”he said.
It should be recalled that it was during the Council of Ministers last Thursday that the President of the Transition reiterated his commitment to return power to civilians at the end of the two (2) years of transition. He indicated that after the 24 months he will not spend another day in power.
