Director Nelson Dilip Kumar said that the filming of Jailer is in the final stage. Rajinikanth’s parts have been completed. Speaking at the Vikadan Awards ceremony, the director said that the film will be ready for release soon.
As the name suggests, Rajini will play the role of a ‘jailer’ in the film. Mohanlal is also a part of the film. The film also has a fight scene where Lal and Rajini come face to face. Rajini had reached Kochi last month for the schedule in Kerala.

The film is produced by Kalanidhi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures. Vijay Karthik Kannan is handling the cinematography for the film with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Stunt Siva is doing the action choreography for the film.
