Raju’s decision is at the level of knowing, not this and beyond: Listin Stephen
Katuva is a mass action film that is coming after a gap in Malayalam. Prithviraj’s action hero film is coming to Malayalam, which has been immersed in realistic films, and Malayalees are looking forward to it. Tiger also has the distinction of being the comeback of director Shaji Kailash.
Listin Stephen says that Prithviraj was afraid that Tiger would be accepted by the audience. His response was to the media at Tiger’s promotional event in Kochi.
‘We are taking and distributing films from other languages here. It gets applause and a terrific initial. We are taking realistic films.
Raju is afraid that once we make a film like Tiger, they will take it in that sense. I would say that if Raju takes courage then others will also take courage. Then Raju feels that if we do it, others will like it. And knowing Raju’s decision, it doesn’t matter if he doesn’t succeed, Raju is sitting at the level that he has seen this and beyond. So another test is being done on the tiger,’ Listin said.
Tiger will release on July 7. Apart from Malayalam, the film will be released in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi languages. Sai Kumar, Siddique, Janardhanan, Vijayaraghavan, Aju Varghese, Harishree Asokan, Rahul Madhav, Kochupreman, Samyukta Menon, Seema, Priyanka etc. Vivek Oberoi plays the role of D.I.G. as the villain in the film.
