RAM cancels flights from and to France from March 20 to 23

Royal Air Maroc is once again forced to cancel flights from or to France due to strikes scheduled for Monday, March 20 in Paris and several other French cities.

Following the strike notice from the public function in France from March 20 to 23, 2023, relayed by the unions of the French DGACall airlines have been asked to reduce their flight schedule for this day by 20%, RAM said in a statement.

Thus, the company informs its customers of the decision to cancel a certain number of flights from March 20 to 23 from and to France. The Moroccan company had already canceled several flights before for the same reasons.

“Due to the Notice of civil service strikerelayed by the unions of the French DGAC, we are forced to proceed with the cancellation of some flights on March 20, 21, 22 and 23, from and to France”, writes the company.

In order to limit the impact of these cancellations, Royal Air Morocco accompanies its Customers by transferring them to other flights. Customers who have contact details on their reservation file will receive e-mails and SMS confirming their postponed flight. RAM invites passengers to consult the status of their flight and check and update their contact details on the “manage my reservation” section of the company’s website.

In addition, for all holders of Royal Air Maroc plane tickets on canceled flights, not wishing to travel on board flights made available to them, the company grants:

• Reimbursement of the ticket in its original means of payment,
Or,
• a free date change, depending on availability, from and to the same destination or a destination of the Royal Air Maroc network in Europe, for a new travel date within 15 days of the date of the canceled flight provided that the duration of initial stay is maintained.

“It should be noted that for any change of destination, the possible difference in taxes will be borne by the passenger”, specifies the company.

RAM invites passengers whose vols have been cancelled, or who have not received a confirmed rescheduled flight not to report to theairport and to contact their initial point of sale or the RAM call center to confirm their rescheduled flight or benefit from the arrangements made available to them.
