The series “The Returners” is not considered a new part of the series “Counter Attack”, which was shown last Ramadan 2021, and co-starred with the artist Ahmed Ezz and the Tunisian artist Hend Sabry.
The story of the series “The Return”
The “returnees” are inspired by events that took place from 2018 to 2020, and are related to many changes in the Arab region, and how the Egyptian state dealt with the threats it was exposed to at this stage.
The star, Amir Karara, embodies the main character in the series, a man in the National Security Agency in Egypt, who is charged with the search and arrest of a criminal belonging to the terrorist organization “ISIS”, whose role in the series is played by the artist Mohamed Farraj.
