The stars compete during the upcoming Ramadan season about dramas that vary between comedies, social dramas, historical dramas, and Upper Egypt dramas.
What is remarkable about this season is the noticeable increase in the number of women’s championships, which rely on stars to present works that mostly discuss social issues that have recently imposed themselves on public opinion.
“Masrawy” sheds light in this report on the most prominent works starring art stars:
1000 Thank God for safety
Actress Yousra participates in the 1000 series Hamdallah Al Salama, which takes place in a social and comic framework, suitable for families and different ages, through the story of a media doctor named Samiha Jahin Al-Suwaisi, who is the mother of a young man and woman.
The mother returns to Egypt from abroad to search for her family’s identity, and the series is directed by Amr Arafa, starring Shaima Seif and Mohamed Tharwat.
under guardianship
It is considered one of the most prominent works that the audience awaits, and it falls within the social drama. It stars Mona Zaki, Nisreen Amin, Khaled Kamal, Rushdi Al-Shami, and is written by Khaled and Sherine Diab and directed by Muhammad Shaker Khudair.
Under guardianship, it revolves around the idea of a breadwinner woman through the character of Hanan (Mona Zaki), a mother of a 9-year-old son and an infant daughter, who takes care of them after the death of her husband amid difficulties she faces on her own, and the series consists of 15 episodes only.
Rare coin
The series is a return to the cooperation of the actress Nelly Karim – the heroine of the work – with the author Medhat Al-Adl, after their recent cooperation in the series “For the Highest Price” in 2017.
The series raises women’s issues in Upper Egypt society, and the problems that beset them in the current era, the most prominent of which are inheritance issues with the husband’s family.
The series is starring: Nelly Karim, Farida Seif Al-Nasr, Ahmed Badir, Kamal Abu Rayya, and others, and it was written by Medhat Al-Adl and directed by Muhammad Al-Adl.
Change the atmosphere
The series “Change Joe” is the first work in which Menna Shalaby participates, after her recent crisis.
The series revolves around a social and suspenseful framework, around Sharifa, whose life suffers from many crises, including her mother’s suffering from an addiction to tranquilizers and alcohol.
Co-starring opposite Menna Shalaby, each of the artists: Ahmed Malik, Iyad Nassar, and it was written by Mona El-Shimi and directed by Maryam Abu Ouf.

The series “Jet Salima” is witnessing the return of the artist, Donia Samir Ghanem, after the absence of 3 Ramadan seasons, the last of which was the series “Badal Al-Hadota 3”.
Donia participates in the tournament, Mohamed Salam, Sami Maghawry, Sherine, Mohamed Tharwat, and a number of other artists, written by Karim Youssef and Sameh Jamal, and directed by Islam Khairy.

This year, the actress Ruby is participating in the Ramadan race, in the series Hazrat El Omda, in which she embodies the role of a university doctor from Upper Egypt, and enters into a conflict with her family because of verticality, and begins to hesitate between her future or satisfying her family by accepting verticality.
