The New York Rangers agreed to a two-year, $7.744 million contract with K’Andre Miller on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old defenseman, who was a restricted free agent, will earn an average annual salary of $3.872 million. Miller set NHL career highs in goals (9), assists (34) and points (43) in 79 games last season. He has added an assist in seven Stanley Cup Playoff games.

Drafted 22nd overall by the Rangers in the 2018 draft, Miller has 75 points (21 goals, 54 assists) in 214 career regular season games and eight points (two goals, six assists) in 27 playoff games.
