Connection Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are always interesting to discuss. Especially how much love the actor gave to his wife.
Like when Deepika Padukone appeared bold in the film Gehraiyaan and invited the limelight. Together with Siddhant Chaturvedhi, she acted in intimate scenes in the film.
While many thought that Ranveer Singh would be angry, the reality was different. He apparently supports his wife’s latest work. He even praised Deepika’s appearance and that of her co-star.
Through uploads on Instagram, Ranveer as if he didn’t want to lose and uploaded a photo of the two of them kissing passionately.
“What a classy performance darling! Such subtle, nuanced and heartfelt artistry! ..on your perfection and the best in this! You make me very proud @deepikapadukone,” wrote Ranveer on his personal account.
In this film, Deepika Padukone has many intimate scenes with her co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi. He saw this as a challenge in acting in the film directed by Shakun Batra.
“I think those scenes would not have been possible to shoot without the comfort he gave us. During shooting I felt working in a really safe and comfortable space, because showing intimacy in front of the camera is not an easy thing,” said Deepika Padukone at the launch of the Gehraiyaan trailer, quoted from the Indian Express.
He also admitted that the intimate scenes he performed in this film were not something that is usually seen in Bollywood films in general. This is something and a new experience for him.
Not only that, he also faithfully accompanied Deepika, who had been experiencing mental health problems since 2014. He remembers that at that time he was filming and was suddenly contacted by Deepika who admitted that she had fainted at home.
Hearing this, the actor asked the director for permission to go home.
“I hung up the phone and went straight home on my motorbike. When I saw her, something was wrong. She (Deepika Padukone) was in front, she looked at me but her eyes were blank,” he said.
The next incident was even worse, Deepika cried more often for no apparent reason. Even when the two of them were having breakfast, tears suddenly flowed down the Pathaan star’s face.
“When I asked him what happened, he didn’t know. I got up and went over to him to tell me. The reason I remember it clearly is because that’s when I felt really helpless,” recalled Ranveer.
