Salaries of Russian residents in August 2023 accelerated growth to 9.5% in annual terms from July 9.2%. This is evidenced by Rosstat data. Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russians’ incomes are growing above inflation.
“Salaries of Russian residents accelerated growth in August 2023. This is up to 9.5% in annual terms from 9.2% in July,” RIA Novosti writes with reference to Rosstat.
The growth of wages in January-August amounted to 7.5% in annual terms. Earlier, Putin instructed the government and the Central Bank to monitor price increases.
