Rapper acquires Starbucks in Russia

Russian singer and businessman Timati has managed to acquire all the assets of the Starbucks chain in Russia, and the first outlets will open in August, and the team is now working on finding a new name for the brand.
“Now, officially, all the assets of the Starbucks chain have been acquired and are under our leadership with Anton Pinsky,” Timati wrote on his Instagram account, according to the agency “Sputnik” today, Saturday.

Timati noted that “visitors should not expect a big change of the brand,” but invited the Russians “to participate in the development of a new name and design an appropriate logo.”

The first Starbucks cafe opened in Moscow in March 2007, and the company announced the suspension of its services in Russia with the start of the war in Ukraine last February.
