Donbass rapper and war correspondent Akim Apachev performed a composition in Ukrainian on New Year’s Eve on Channel One. The man sang the song together with singer Daria Frey.
“My city of Mary, out of habit, greets the St. George Ribbon. This is my home, this is my Crimea, this is my land,” the song “Plive Kacha” is sung, which translates as “a duck is swimming.” The song condemns the actions of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers.
