American rapper Fetty Wap was arrested in New Jersey on Monday for allegedly threatening to kill a person, violating his bail conditions, NBC reported.
“I’m going to kill you and everyone else too,” the musician allegedly said during a Facetime call, while pointing a gun at the screen, according to federal authorities.
He would have repeated this several times to his interlocutor, whose identity has not been revealed, during the call dated December 11, 2021.
By possessing a firearm as well as threatening someone, the rapper therefore violated the conditions of his release on November 5, concerning allegations of conspiracy to possess and sell substances.
For the moment, Fetty Wap remains detained.
