On the occasion of the 15th edition of the International Rare Disease Day, we take stock of these diseases that affect children and adults alike.
There are nearly 9,000 rare diseases and in France, three million people suffer from them. For patients, their families and loved ones, care can be like an obstacle course, which begins long before the diagnosis is made.
