Last Monday, September 5, was the birthday of the star bandQueen Freddie MercuryWho would have reached the age of seventy-six if he had been alive.

On this occasion, a British website published rare photos from his mother’s private collection, Ger Bulsara, from the star’s childhood, where it was possible to see a kind of similarity between Freddie Mercury, the child, and Mercury the man.
The star of the Queen band was born on the island of Zanzibar, which is located east of the African country of Tanzania, when Zanzibar was a British colony. The family had a relatively affluent lifestyle and the child Farouk Bulsara (the real name of Freddie Mercury) had a nanny named Sabine.
