In 2022, the automotive market experienced such a strong shock that its structure changed irrevocably: in August, Lada and three Chinese brands — Haval, Geely and Chery — provided more than half of sales. And this contrasts sharply with what Russians have become accustomed to over the past 20 years. To commemorate the passing auto era, we have selected five models that have played an important role in the market. We did not consider the premium segment, and also did not take into account the brands Hyundai, KIA, Toyota and a number of other Asian brands that declare their desire to stay in Russia.
