Ratti will ask the CNE to declare González “physically incapacitated”

Political leader Luis Ratti announced that he will ask the National Electoral Council (CNE) to declare opposition candidate Edmundo González “physically incapable” of participating in electoral campaigns and holding public office.

He stated, through his X account, that he will make the request “tomorrow.”

“We must hold María Corina Machado solely responsible for anything that may happen to Edmundo González (…) who is in a very delicate state of health,” Ratti said.

These statements by Ratti are in line with those of Diosdado Cabello, who has repeatedly hinted that González suffers from health problems, reported Noticia al Minuto.

Last Wednesday, Edmundo González denied rumours regarding his health, saying that he does not suffer from “any serious illness” that would prevent him from participating in the campaign.
