Where to go with Leipzig’s Angeliño?
He has just brought his family to Leipzig and found a kindergarten place for his son Angel junior. But now Leipzig’s Angeliño (25) has to pack his bags again!
After the transfer of David Raum (24/came from Hoffenheim), the Spaniard has no future in Leipzig because he cannot be guaranteed playing time. And RB didn’t want to open a permanent construction site with the hot-blooded professional. Also leaked: Coach Domenico Tedeco (36) found it very difficult to live with his moods.
But what to do with Angeliño?
Leipzig’s preferred plan to send him to Hoffenheim in return does not seem to be working. TSG is too small for Angeliño, he wants to play in the Champions League. In addition to Hoffenheim, he is said to have been offered to the Spanish club Barcelona, but they should not be interested.
Angeliño, on the other hand, would like to go back to his home country, he has often emphasized that and was therefore always an element of uncertainty for the bosses – who could have presented himself at any time with a change request.
Instead of Angeliño, space is now set to the left. On Tuesday (10.30 a.m.) the record purchase (25.5 million euros transfer fee) completed his first training session at RB.
As it turned out, the transfer only came about after difficult negotiations. The national player actually cost 30.5 million euros – which RB would not have paid. In the end, the player and his advisors waived their participation and RB got the international for 25.5 million euros.

Bonnah lets change Switzerland burst on the spot
He was already safe in Switzerland! But Leipzig talent Solomon Bonnah (18), who has no future at RB (contract until 2023), burst the move to FC Lugano that was believed to be safe on site.
The centre-back is said to be hoping for a better offer from another club. A few weeks ago he failed a trial at second division club Magdeburg.
And so Bonnah is still released for the club search and trains individually. As does Joscha Wosz (20).
Then there is Ademola Lookman (24), who is about to move to Atalanta Bergamo. He no longer completes his rehabilitation (muscular problems in the hip area) in Leipzig.
But: Before Lookman comes, Atalanta still has to sell professionals. There are currently 40 players under contract, 12 of whom are in an extra training group. After all: With Aleksey Miranchuk (FC Torino) the first player is gone and the way for Lookman is clear(er).
