The wait finally ended. Hundreds of thousands of Colombian fans of the Mexican band RBD, from the novel ‘Rebelde’, will finally be able to enjoy the four concert dates that will take place this November 3, 4, 5 and 6 at the Atanasio Girardot stadium in Medellín.

The capital of Antioquia is ready to receive the series of presentations that promise to leave an important economic impact on the city. Estimates from the Mayor’s Office of Medellín indicate that tourist spending will exceed 25 million dollars in food, transportation, entertainment and lodging.
Cotelco Antioquia indicated that most accommodations have no rooms or beds available, so hotel occupancy is expected to be between 85 and 90 percent for this weekend. And thousands of people came to Medellín, from different cities and municipalities in the country, to enjoy the concerts.

Some 1,500 uniformed members of the Aburrá Valley Metropolitan Police will guard the Atanasio Girardot stadium and its surroundings to guarantee the safety of the 160,000 spectators who will go to the stage in the coming days.

Closed roads
The Medellín Mobility Secretariat reported that due to the RDB concert at the Atanasio Girardot stadium, the permanent closure of the eastern road of Carrera 74, between streets 48 and 50, and Carrera 72, between Calle 48 and Carrera 74, will be presented. The measure takes effect from 8 in the morning on November 2 and will extend until 8 in the morning on Tuesday, November 7.
To control and regulate mobility in the vicinity of the stadium, during the concerts, the secretariat has traffic agents on Carrera 74, between streets 48 and 50, and on Calle 50 between Carreras 66, 70 and 77B. .
During the four days of concerts, three temporary taxi collections will be set up on Carrera 70 with Calle 48, Calle 48 with Carrera 70, and Calle 50 between Carreras 74 and 70.
The Mobility Secretariat recommended that attendees take into account the instructions of traffic agents, drive with caution, and pay attention to the signs and messages on the panels located on the main roads of the city.

Hours and entrances to the stadium
The organizers of the event reported that the doors of the Atanasio Girardot stadium will open for the entry of fans from 4 in the afternoon. It is estimated that the Mexican band will take the stage at 9 pm. So far the opening act that will precede them is not known.
In the surroundings of the sports venue, four entrances will be available depending on the location of the tickets.
Entrance 1, western: entry is through Carrera 74 (through the Obelisk sector) for those who have the following seats: western, western boxes and the After Me area.
Entrance 2, north: has two entrances. The first is on Colombia Avenue, at the back of the Athletics stadium and passing between the Marte 1 and 2 fields. Entrance 3, eastern: those who have the Eastern, Eastern Box and the After Me area must enter through Carrera 70 (between the Athletics Stadium and the Iván de Bedout Coliseum).

Recommendations for attendees
Small bags or fanny packs, rechargeable cell phone batteries and raincoats are allowed into the Atanasio Girardot stadium.
Camping is not allowed in the surroundings of the stadium and you cannot bring in large bags, cosmetic bags, large binoculars, pets, flammable liquids or gases, food or drinks, weapons, drones, professional and semi-professional cameras, gopro, selfie sticks and blunt objects (straps, badges, umbrellas, flagpoles or flag sticks).
The entry of people under the influence of psychoactive substances or in a state of intoxication is also not permitted. The minimum income age is 18 years. The admission of women who are visibly pregnant is not recommended.
Attendees are recommended to arrive early to avoid traffic, travel by the Medellín Metro and public transportation (there are no public parking spaces), wear comfortable clothing and define a meeting point with companions outside the stadium.
