RBD fans in Chicago experienced the excitement of seeing their idols on Thursday at the Mexican group’s first concert in the city, as part of its “Soy Rebelde Tour.”
Some of those attending the Guaranteed Rate Field were dressed as characters from the famous Mexican youth soap opera, Rebelde.
“Since I was little I wanted to be Mine and her phrase ‘how difficult it is to be me’ is my phrase, I live it every day. How difficult it is to be me,” said young Anel Rivero, an RBD fan.
Another of the attendees revealed that she owes her name to one of the members of the RBD group.
“When I see Anahí I’m going to cry, because my name is Anahís because of her. That’s how my mom called me and she gives me a lot of emotion,” said Anahís Rincón.
Expectation was growing at the Guaranteed Rate Field, where the concert took place this Thursday at 7:00 pm.
The presentation lasted about two hours. Before entering the White Sox stadium, attendees passed through metal detectors and their belongings were searched, all to ensure the show.
Other attendees revealed that RBD were part of their childhood and seeing them live excited them.
“Well, very happy, especially for meeting Christopher and Anahí, they were part of my childhood,” said César Sánchez.
After 15 years, the fans saw their favorite group again and when they heard the song “Tras de mí”, those present burst into joy.
