RCMP looking for… a stolen house

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a home in Saskatchewan.

You read correctly. According to Global News, a house was robbed on the night of June 13-14 around midnight in the Crooked river area, 2:30 a.m. east of Saskatoon.

The house was to be moved in the next few days and was already resting on a trailer to facilitate the transfer.

The authorities’ investigation revealed that an altercation took place between the owner and an individual the day following the theft.

Matthew Malley was arrested for theft under $5,000 and assault with a weapon and will appear July 18 in Provincial Court.

However, despite the arrest, authorities are still searching for the house.
