These doctors were terminated months ago as they reached the legal retirement age

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Health is considering the re-appointment of expatriate doctors. The ministry is going to re-examine the case of around 100 doctors who were working in various hospitals and primary health centres.

As the number of doctors in the ministry is less, their services are essential for the ministry. These doctors were terminated months ago as they reached the legal retirement age.

However, it is planned to re-appoint them under the conditions. The health areas where these doctors have previously worked have sent letters indicating that these areas need them. Sources concerned said that the ministry is studying this and will take action in the next few days.
