With a dream performance in the first half, our National team crushed Kazakhstan 5-0 in the packed OPAP Arena and next Tuesday they will play their EURO qualifier against Georgia in Tbilisi (19.00).
The National team scored four goals in the 1st half, as they came in very strong, were efficient and were not threatened at all by the visitors who lost them from the amazing start of our representative group.
The second half was purely procedural and was a matter of management for the National Team, which was also maintaining forces ahead of the final.
Bakasetas opened the scoring in the 9th minute with a penalty won by Pelkas, who found the net in the 15th minute. The other two goals were scored by Ioannidis (37′) and Kourbelis (40′). Tapalov put the icing on the cake in the 85th minute with an own goal.

Georgia took advantage of the numerical advantage and after first having a post in the 58th minute with a direct free kick by Levan Sengelia of Panaitolikos, in the 63rd minute it finally reached 2-0. Sengelia got the assist this time and Budu Živživadze scored his second personal goal of the game.
